Return Policy

To formally initiate a return or exchange, you must contact our support team at forestthread@gmail.com or via our official WhatsApp channel within a strict window of seven (7) calendar days from the verified delivery date. To expedite approval, your initial return request must include clear, unedited photographic evidence of the Product in its current condition. These photographs must explicitly demonstrate that the item is unused, unwashed, and that all original Forest Thread™ branding tags remain physically attached and intact. Return requests submitted without this requisite photographic proof, or those raised beyond the 7-day window, will be systematically declined.

Forest Thread™ is committed to a frictionless return experience. You are not required to manually courier the item back to our fulfillment facility. Upon the formal approval of your return request, we will automatically organize a reverse pickup from your original delivery address through our logistics partner (Delhivery). This reverse pickup service is provided completely free of charge. We guarantee a full refund for eligible returns and do not deduct any reverse shipping charges, restocking fees, or flat penalties from your final refund amount.

We proudly offer and highly encourage direct product exchanges. If you wish to swap your purchased item for a different color or variant, please explicitly state your preference for an exchange in your initial return email. Once your original item is successfully collected by our logistics partner and arrives at our facility, we will immediately process and dispatch the requested exchange unit.

Forest Thread™ does not impose any category-specific return exemptions. All of our natural fabric and hemp accessories—including promotional items or sale units—are fully eligible for return or exchange, provided they strictly meet the fundamental condition requirements outlined in Section 1 (unused, unwashed, original tags attached, and packaging reasonably intact).

Upon the successful arrival and intake of your returned package at our facility, our system immediately triggers the approved financial refund through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay). While Forest Thread™ initiates the financial reversal on the same day the returned package is received, standard banking timelines apply. Please allow up to seven (7) working days for your respective bank, credit card issuer, or UPI provider to fully process the transaction and reflect the credited funds in your original source account.

For orders placed utilizing the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method, financial refunds cannot be automatically routed back to a source account. Upon successful return approval, the customer will be formally notified via the email address registered on the platform with specific, secure instructions detailing exactly how the refund payout process will be executed.

Our logistics partner will make a maximum of three (3) consecutive attempts to collect the return package from your designated address. If the customer is consistently unavailable, or the designated contact number is unreachable during these three attempts, the reverse pickup will be marked as failed, and the return request will be permanently cancelled.

While financial refunds are triggered upon the physical arrival of the returned item at our facility, all packages undergo a subsequent internal Quality Check (QC). If our inspection reveals that the returned accessory has been used, washed, damaged, or altered by the customer, the guarantee of a full refund is immediately voided. In such instances, Forest Thread™ reserves the unrestricted right to issue a partial refund on a strict case-by-case basis. This partial refund will categorically deduct all incurred operational expenses, including forward shipping fees, reverse logistics fees, packaging costs, and a proportionate deduction for the compromised value of the product itself.
